Questions to ask an AI vendor

Ask which AI system and intended use are covered; which provider and deployer duties each party handles; how notices and synthetic-output marking work; which evidence supports those statements; and how updates and incidents are communicated. Inspect your configured integration, not just the vendor homepage. Keep dated documentation and assessment decisions.

Use technical observations as supporting evidence. Confirm legal applicability and exceptions independently.
