Our Mission & Purpose
The European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) represents the world’s first comprehensive horizontal legal framework governing AI deployment. Among its core provisions, Article 50 establishes mandatory transparency obligations designed to protect citizens from deceptive synthetic media, unannounced conversational chatbots, and unlabelled AI-generated public copy.
However, technical implementation of Article 50 presents significant engineering challenges. Checking whether embedded third-party scripts present compliant disclosures, verifying machine-readable C2PA metadata manifests, and auditing web copy requires automated inspection tools. Our platform was created by EU legal tech engineers to provide instant, objective, client-side technical diagnostic scores for web domains.
Our 3-Pillar Technical Audit Methodology
Pillar 1: Cheerio DOM Parsing
Our engine retrieves client-side HTML and parses script embeds against 15+ known conversational AI signatures (Intercom, Zendesk, Drift, Tidio, OpenAI, Voiceflow, Botpress, ElevenLabs, etc.) to verify Article 50(1) natural person interaction notifications.
Pillar 2: ExifReader C2PA Inspection
Image assets embedded on the scanned webpage are fetched and inspected using ExifReader binary analysis for C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) manifests, IPTC tags, and EXIF metadata markers per Article 50(2).
Pillar 3: Gemini 2.5 Flash LLM
Extracted DOM text copy is evaluated using Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash API with structured JSON output schema to evaluate explicit AI usage policies and public interest disclosures mandated under Article 50(3).
