Privacy Policy & Data Terms

Effective Date: August 1, 2024 | Compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy Directive & Google AdSense Policies

1. Introduction & Overview

The EU AI Act Article 50 Transparency Scanner ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website located at https://euaishield.com. We are committed to protecting user privacy while serving automated technical diagnostics and educational compliance resources under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

2. Google AdSense & DART Cookie Disclosures

This website uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. As part of serving advertisements on this site, Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve personalized and non-personalized ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the Internet.

  • DART Cookie Usage: Google's use of the DoubleClick DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Opting Out: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

3. Public Domain Scanning & Data Processing

Our technical compliance scanner operates exclusively on publicly accessible web pages. When a user submits a domain to be audited, our system fetches client-side HTML, parses script embeds (such as chatbot widgets), inspects public image headers for C2PA metadata, and evaluates public copy using Google Gemini 2.5 Flash. No private database credentials or non-public data are accessed or stored.

4. Redis Caching & Local Storage

Scan diagnostic results are cached in Upstash Redis for 24 hours to prevent excessive traffic on target domains. Client-side state (such as UI preferences and recent scan inputs) is managed via transient browser React state and standard HTTP headers.

5. GDPR Compliance & User Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, users residing within the European Economic Area possess the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of any personal data processed by us. Inquiries regarding data privacy should be directed to support@euaishield.com.
